Lexie and Jordan wanted to go snowboarding over Christmas break and since I didn't feel like being in a love triangle I convinced my really cool cousin, Amber, to come with us. We went night boarding because none of us felt like paying full price at Brian Head, and we were pretty much the only people there. It was extremely icy so the smallest fall hurt really bad but it made it made it really funny as well. Getting off the lift was more terrifying than usual because it was so icy so we would cruise and go so far. It is cracking me up thinking about me and Amber trying to get off. We would start to scream when we approached the top of the mountain and then as soon as we had to get off I would grab on to her. I'm pretty sure I made her fall a couple of times while I kept going. Oops ;) Anywhoosy woozy it was a really fun night, regardless of how I made it sound!

a day on the slopes
Yesterday I went snowboarding with one of my friends and his two roommates. I was super excited/nervous because I hadn't been boarding since I was 16. I felt like for the most part I picked it right back up and I had such a great time. There's just something about getting away and being in the mountains that is good for the soul. Plus I loved having an excuse to be outside all day on such a cold and snowy day.
Here's a funny video of me trying to go off of a teeny jump for the
first time in my life. Don't fret I made progress throughout the day,
but I never landed it. I am dying to go back and try it again!

On Saturday Lexie and her roommate Autumn had a great idea to go sledding in Pine Valley. Nobody was able to join us but we didn't let that stop us from going. We liked fitting all three of us on one sled the best, and I'm pretty sure we laughed our heads off the whole time. I had a hard time holding my feet up so sometimes they would drag and spray Lexie's face with snow the whole ride down. We thought it was totes hils (totally hilarious. please pray that never catches on) and we would just lay in the snow laughing once we made it down. It was fun to be up in the mountains, and I love that I was finally able meet Lexie's other bff (I'm her best friend too, obvi). Lexie's dad and three little brothers came as well so we handed my camera over to her dad and the rest is history.
