Korts Wedding

Kortney (Jones) Wilde is one of those friends that I've always looked up to a whole lot. Not only is she one of the prettiest girls I know, she is hilarious, smart, kind and talented. She's got it going on! Kort and I have been friends since I moved into her ward in middle school, but high school cheer is what made us really good friends. She was always my favorite person to talk to about everything and we made some really good memories in high school. Lets face it, we crack ourselves up ;) I missed Kort my senior year after she graduated so when I found out she was transferring from SUU to Dixie I was stoked. She was just the kind of best friend I needed during my freshman year of college. Everyone needs a Kortney Jones in their life, and that is why Sam is so lucky! I could not have been more thrilled for two love birds to seal the deal. Every time I watch one of my friends walk out of the temple with their new spouse I get the chills, and that didn't fail to happen with Kort and Sam. I'm so happy for them, and I had such a good time at their pretty wedding dinner! Even though Kort's married, she will always be my shawty boo 4 life :)

Jessica Gets Hitched

I remember the day I met Jessica Boyce like it was yesterday. It was in 6th grade and we were at Tori's house. That is very fitting seeing as the three of us became the best of friends later on in life. We all got ready to go to a football game together, and she was wearing a killer cool hat. Jess and I became better friends in 8th grade when I moved into her ward. I was super nervous about moving into a new ward for the fourth time so when Jess, Kiana and Kortney invited me to share a tent with them at girls camp and an apartment with them at youth conference I was beyond relieved. Anywhoosie's Jess and I were pretty good pals and would walk home from school together everyday, but our ward split shortly after I moved in and we didn't hang out a ton. Our real friendship began when we were sophomores in high school, and our best friendship began when we were juniors. We consider ourselves to be twins, and it will always be that way! I have endless memories with this sweet girl that will always be some of the major highlights of my youth. I think the world of this gal, so seeing her so happy with Chase makes my heart sing.

I road tripped down to St. George with Callen and Bekah. Callen was a couple hours late picking us up so we had to speed the entire way to make it to Jessica's wedding dinner on time. It was a funny ride down with Bekah practicing her ukelele, me peeing in a cottage cheese container, and trying to get dressed and ready in the back seat of the car. We made it right in time and had a blast seeing all of our friends. Saturday was even better than Friday. Watching Jess come out of the temple was the sweetest, hanging with Bekah all day and laughing really hard at stupid things was the "funnest", and the dance party at the reception was the coolest.

Thankfully I didn't have to come home until Monday so I was able to spend some time with the cutest kids ever! I can't remember what we did, but I do remember singing and dancing to the entire Frozen soundtrack. Max even joined us (he just didn't sing or dance)!

All in all it was a successful weekend, and I can't wait to get back to St. George!!

Wish I had a pic of that cute Max!

A weekend to remember

There's no denying that I  had a pretty stellar weekend. It started out with going up to Salt Lake on Thursday and having a night out with the whole Fam. I then drove up to O town (Ogden) with my auntie and cousins where I was given the gift of Glee! So to top off the night Torill and I enjoyed a couple episodes ( she even stayed up late with me on a school night, it was a pretty big deal).

Friday was Tan and Brynnes special day, and I got to celebrate it with them! They were married in the Salt Lake Temple and everything about it was so beautiful! Brynne looked stunning and Tan looked happier then ever. They had a nice dinner for everyone at The Old Meeting house and it all  looked so good!

Right after the wedding I drove home with Kay and Brett Berry so I could make it home for Cheer competition in Vegas. I'm going to be honest, I wasn't thrilled to compete but when I woke up Saturday I was super ready! Me and Tori drove down with Jessica and her family, and it was pretty dang fun. We did really well to! All of the stunts hit during show cheer, and I'll be honest, we rocked that place! We got 2nd in our routine, but hey going against some pretty tough Vegas teams that wasn't to shabby. We later competed with our pom routine to Michael Jackson and we won first and overall champions! That was pretty sweet! It was a really great day  full of laughter, weirdness, and some pretty good talks. All in all life is pretty darn good and I can't complain.
