Anytime I'm in charge of kids for more than 24 hours I start to question my ability to be a mother someday. I mean I can be in charge of children for limited periods of time but as soon as their lives are in my hands even after I go to bed, I start to panic. I check on them multiple times throughout the middle of the night to make sure they are still breathing or haven't been kidnapped. Anyways--When I babysat I tried my best to be a good caregiver, keep the house in order, make special breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday like they are used to, bake treats, have a home cooked meal with the table set each night, do fun activities, be patient, get them to bed on time etc etc. That is what they are used to with their mom and dad around buuut I pretty much gave up on doing all of that, and just tried to get us all through the weekend without too many tears.

This is what I would wake up to every morning. Owen and Isaac's room is right next to mine, so I always hear them opening and closing the cupboards (we all have cupboards in our room for closets). It's kind of like my wake up call ;) When I went in their room to get them they weren't anywhere to be seen, so sure enough when I opened up the cupboard there they were. They could not have been more thrilled with themselves. Also-- Ikey is obsessed with being a sports guy. I let Owen wear the basketball outfit the night before because Isaac had been wearing them every night. Isaac had a major melt down and told me that he wont look cool if he's not a "spoyts guy." Obviously I had to find him some more 'sports' pajamas. Oh and don't mind that he slept with his hat on, ha!
My mom took the boys to the park so I had some one on one time with cutest Jacky B! He always calls me "Maddi, Buddy" but mostly "Buddy." Him saying it in his little voice is enough to melt my heart. It's impossible to not have an obsession with him.
He always walks around saying "appol, appol." I just wish you could all witness his sweetness.
I had to walk the boys to their school that is only two miles away, but it was tricky because the stroller we usually use is broken, so I had to use the devil stroller. If there's one thing on this earth that I despise, it is this stroller. Going to school is straight up hill for two miles and let me just tell you, pushing them in that (insert bad word) stroller was enough to make me fall over dead. Especially since the boys were out of control. I ended up walking 8 miles that day trying to get them to and from school since I had to walk home after I dropped them off, and it kind of made me feel like a pioneer woman. It's things like this that I will actually miss about Ireland. I just feel like doing anything takes so much effort, which used to bother me, but now I think it's pretty cool.
The boys fell asleep on the walk home from school. It was a sweet relief from the running, screaming and hitting they were doing on the walk to school.Unfortunately we were all hit with the stomach flu not too long after this photo was taken, which explains why the walk felt extra difficult this day.
These three boys have become like my own little nephews, and I just love them to pieces.

there you have it

Tyler and I went on a really fun date a few weeks ago. We got my favorite fish tacos from Lone Star Taqueria, and then we went bowling. I'm terrible at bowling but he gave me some pointers that helped a ton! I've got the walk down like a professional now ;) There was this cute boy bowling in the lane next to us who had down syndrome, and his smiles and waves to me made me so happy. He even talked to me which just about sent me to the moon. It was a good time and I've been itching to go again. I just so badly want to beat my high score of 70 ;)

I tried very hard to get a picture of his legit form but my photography skills just aren't up to par!
This picture is the grainiest, but I love it! We watched Gravity after we went bowling and it was maybe just a tad too stressful for me. I also made Tyler participate in singing along to God Bless the USA with his hand over his heart while we were driving home. I don't think he likes doing that as much as I do ;)
These three kids were so naughty this day. Probably the hardest they've ever been but the thing is I really do love them and it kind of breaks my heart thinking about no longer being their nanny. I'm going to miss these crazies!
Collin walked out of swim practice like this the other day while flirting with a girl and I couldn't help but snap a pic. Like I said.. I'm going to miss the crazies!
I spent the weekend in Provo after the Festival of Colors to hang out with Lexie while she was in town. We watched the Woman's Broadcast, went to J-Dawgs, made deep fried Oreos, and had a big game night with a bunch of friends. I was laughing so hard all night and loved every minute of it! One of my favorite moments was when we were playing catch phrase and Bekah thought that one of our team mates said, "It's a treat" when he actually said, "It's a tree." She kept yelling out different kinds of treats and I was trying so hard to tell her that he said tree but I couldn't get her to hear me over all of her guessing. It was funnier than it sounds ;-)
I accidentally thanked Jordan for the weekend instead of the invite while texting him the other day. It pretty much sums up what I'm thinking about all the time. I live for the weekends these days!
All my life I've claimed that I don't know how to french braid hair. I was doing Kam's hair the other day and I french braided it without even realizing it. I've know how without knowing it all along, and I'm thrilled!
Having the Tanner Frei family in Utah for so long was a dream come true. I loved all the sibling time, and watching Morries tricks. I have MISSED them!
The Neutral Milk Hotel concert was amazing! They were so talented and we were lucky enough to be standing in the front row! The only bad thing was the drunk guy standing behind us who was trying to make us give him our spot. He also kept telling me to stop taking selfies because that is the lamest thing he's ever seen, when I wasn't even taking any pictures at all! He wasn't a very fun drunk. After the concert he came up and talked to me again, even more wasted then before. He took his wedding ring off and asked me what I was doing next. It made me so so mad and I told him to put his ring back on. Ugh why do some concert goers have to be so gross sometimes?
I got April Fooled by my roommates big time. One of the pranks had me laughing all day! They signed me up for Farmers Only, a dating website for farmers only. Them city folk just don't understand. The other pranks they pulled on me actually made me pretty mad but ohhh well.
Tell me you didn't think this was a picture of Bekah when you first looked at it.
The Blue Man Group came to the U last week and Tyler got us tickets! I loved the whole show, but my favorite part was for sure the dance party at the end to Shake Your Euphemism. I've never heard so many brilliant ways to say the word "butt" and I was thrilled about it. After the show we went and saw Grand Budapest Hotel with Kenzie and Patrick. I really liked it, but I liked Moonrise Kingdom more :)
I went to Provo to watch general conference and hang out with Bekah over the weekend. We were both pretty exhausted so we didn't do anything too crazy, but I honestly had the best time! She makes me laugh harder than anyone I know and I'm sooo glad we've been able to get in so much friendship time these last couple of months! Kindred spirits for life!! We were in a really weird mood after Bekah showed me her creepy toe trick (I'm very sorry if you received that snap chat from me) and decided to make our faces look weird.
I was snap chatting Brynne and Tanner happened to open it up and snap me back. It was worth taking a screen shot of because anytime Tanner does anything like this it is just awesome.
I finally went and checked out Berks new studio! This is the first thing you see when you walk in and it looks GOOD.

Attitude of Gratitude: Job

I'm grateful for my job because we make movies, tell stories, play with each others hair and they think I'm some kind of rockstar. These little girls begged me to sing to them last night, and I'm not kidding when I say I'm not much of a singer, at all. They also fought over who got to play with my hair. I really can't leave that house in a bad mood. Heres a short clip from the movie we made on my phone last night. Way high quality.

the moment you've all been waiting for

Since I've deprived you all of the happenings of my life for quite sometime I decided I'd do you all a favor and fill you in.  I'm going to move to LA and pursue my acting career. Or at least my relationship with Corey Monteith. If things don't work out with him, which it will my brother told me so, than Liam Hemsworth will do. how good is he going to be in hunger games?! Just kidding ya'll, I'm not doing that until next year.

Guess who made it through her first week of college?! This girl. I only made a fool out of myself a handful of times, but it's great because nobody cares! Is it weird that I sort of love how nobody has friends? Although I would love to make some friends. I'm just going to put that out there. I am loving Dixie State, and college in general.

My job is going great! How could I not love being paid to play with the two sweetest little boys. I probably say that way to much hu? Also, I'm sort of becoming an expert on the Wii, aaand I can play a mean game of air hockey now. Although I have yet to beat Braxton at annnnything. He's a straight up g (gamer). Rylan, well he's really starting to warm up to me, and saying  that I love it is an understatement. I love when he gets silly and makes me chase him around. He starts laughing so hard and it's just the best thing.

Last night I had intentions of going to a foam dance at school but one of Hailee's friends had a little incident while trying to hop the fence, so we ended up going to the emergency room. Sounds like a summa bumma right? Wrong. It actually made our night kind of exciting besides we didn't have five dollars for the foam dance anyways. Poor Mitch, he was in pain and I was having fun. Sue me. It's a good thing all my friends want to be doctors so they knew how to handle the situation because I sure didn't. Me and Kort enjoyed our ride to the hospital with Mitch's roommates. We decided to make it a double date, and we weren't the best at telling them how to get to the hospital. Poor guys, all they want to do is go to the hospital to help out there friend and me and Kort are too distracted by our comedy. He ended up being okay, and he  hopefully wont have to get surgery aggggain. Once we left the ER we decided to check out the foam dance. The best part was it was at the NIB building, and since I love getting nibby wit it I couldn't have been happier. When we got there we realized it was basically just a bunch of people having...fun? on the dance floor. We decided to just watch from above because we wanted to keep our virtue, but it was quite the sight. And as for the foam machine, it was foamaliscious.

Woah, that got really long.

Have a happy Saturday!

Summer, don't leave to fast

Lately my life has consisted mostly of working with fun things in between (I complain about it way to much). I've been doing the usual at freddy fred fred's, and I also got to babysit my cute neighbs for a couple days. It was fun not to mention a nice break form pumping gas but I think I'll put off having kids for a good, long while.
Last week I started tutoring these two autistic boys, Rylan and Braxton, who happen to be the two cutest, sweetest twelve and thirteen year olds alive. I'm the luckiest girl in the world. When I say tutoring I really mean reading with them for thirty minutes, than playing basketball, swinging, connect four, sorry and hide and go seek for three hours. Tough job.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention before my life turned into working everyday I went to lake Powell for girls camp. It was THE BEST. It didn't feel like girls camp at all. We had two houseboats, 4 speedboats and willing drivers around the clock. I did everything I wanted as much as I wanted and than some. There was constantly boats out pulling the tube, no matter what. It was a good way to end young women's!
One more things. Remember last October when I decided to run the STG marathon the night before with no training? Well you probably don't unless you're one of my close friends but I did. It was a good experience and I'm glad I did but during the 26.2 miles I had of soul searching my ipod was broken I decided I wanted to be prepared the next time I decided to do any race. Well, guess what? This Saturday I'm running the Bryce Canyon half marathon and I'm going in prepared with the 3 miles I ran this morning the first time I've ran since the beginning of Summer. Why do I always do this to myself?! I'm hoping if my legs still work after and I don't have a heart attack it will give me the motivation to start my training for the marathon in October! Now that I'm thinking about it the last half marathon I ran in 6th grade I didn't train for either I think my family was waiting a while for me to finish. It's time to break the habit now! My reward after Bryce Canyon = nice family time at the cabin, and the next week Lake Powell. I love Summer, free time, and vacations!
