My photography teacher showed my class this short video today and it made me happy.

If you are my friend on facebook you may have seen me post a video about something called "Sandboxr." If you're anything like me when it comes to videos and links on facebook you probably didn't actually watch the video, and you might still be in the dark about this mysterious "Sandboxr." I'm sorry to tell you but you are now about to be bombarded with more links and videos, but this is a cool new technology that you should know about! You don't want to be the kid at the party who has no idea what everyone is talking about, right? Unless you are at a lame party with lame people, in that case don't worry about what they are saying and get out as fast as possible.

 Watch this to find out what Sandboxr is all about, and click here to see a demo.

 Sandboxr had their launch party at the Leonardo on February first, and it was a huge success! I was a little nervous for them because I knew they were literally working day and night trying to get everything done in time, and when I got to the museum a few hours early to help set up it didn't look good. Somehow they pulled it together with no sleep, and they all kept their cool. I felt a little foolish because that same week I had a mental breakdown because I had to take a math test (but math is really hard). Anyways, so many people showed up to support them and to see what this Sandboxr business is all about. It's crazy to think back to a couple of years ago when Berk was telling us about this idea, which to be honest, made no sense to me! I still have a hard time grasping the concept of a CD (it seriously blows my mind), so the idea of a 3D printer seemed unreal. Now his dream has turned into a legitimate company, with a payroll and all! I'm proud of my brother and his team for making this happen so that one day my kids can have cooler toys than I had as a child. And so that I can finally make little action figures of myself to give as gifts, or to decorate my house with. Also, can you imagine how fabulous my wedding cake topper is going to be?

 If you want to see more pictures of what Sandboxr has made you should check out their facebook page, but if you want to see pictures of me you are in the right place ;)

If you are ever at the Leonardo you should check out the zoetrope made by Sandboxr

if you haven't seen this

Sorry for the blog overload tonight. I know I post videos way to much, and really what is worse then when someone says "hey can I show you a youtube video?" Okay, there are plenty of worse things, like having five finals in two days, stepping in dog poo, ripping your pants on a date, etc. etc.,  but trust me this video is a real treat. And maybe I was the last person to see it, but good golly miss molly I laughed my face off, not literally. However I did lol, literally. Thanks Brynne for showing it to me, and thanks complicated homework that led me to procrastination.

{for the record i am a total offender of forcing people to watch youtube videos. one time me and alexa emailed like 20 different videos to all of our friends to watch. i don't even think they were very funny}

Enjoi

I'm not much of a poetry person. You wont find me listening to it very often, but this short piece is quite magical so you should give it a try.

Sorry, I just had to post this

Sorry for all the youtube videos but they're just too good to not share.
It's funnier than it looks!
