Since trick-or-treating has been taken away from me I haven't been a big fan of Halloween, but that changed this year! It's turning out to prove itself well! Maybe it's because I've embraced it this year and done all the Holiday activities I can do here in St. George. This is whats gone down so far.
Don't mind all the blurry pictures
Making Halloween decorations with Brynne
Tim Burton exhibit + Edward Scissorhands really got me in the spirit
even though I fell asleep
Carving Pumpkins and watching a Scaaarrrrry movie.
Mine and Jessica's master piece, Rapunzel
Going to the Wizard of Oz for work. I know it's not totally Halloween but it is a lot scarier than I remember
Being in a scary movie with some crazzzzy boys. Let me give you a brief description: "hot babes" instead of alcohol, dance party in the living room with cell phones and no music, pizza slicer murderer, spooky eh?
Making RIP cupcakes with Braxton at work for his ward party. Who knew I would actually enjoy such a thing.
(not ours but now you have a visual)
I FINALLY fulfilled my dream of going to Thriller! I promise you every single year I say I am going to go and I never do. This year my friends made my dream come true and we all went. It was fantastic. My favorite part was probably the Frankenstein dance and the hip hop dance with all the teens in the cemetery and snuggling with Kortney. I'm planning on going to thriller every year for the rest of my life to make up for those 18 years that I didn't. That's how good it was.
Bekah and I went to the haunted hospital in Cedar...by OURSELVES! We wanted to go really bad and nobody else did, but that didn't stop us. Turns out we're not as brave as we thought and we screamed the whole time but it was off da hizzy.
Aaand last but not least the haunted corn maze! I thought I wouldn't be scared going to that since I went to the hospital the night before. I was wrong again. I was so jumpy! Jumpier than I ever knew I could be. Anytime someone would walk up in line I about had a heart attack. When I say anyone I really mean anyone, whether it be someone who was with us or even a little kid. The scariest part was when I was on the bus and I was the last one. All the little actors trapped me and wouldn't let me get off. I thought everyone was going to leave me but thank goodness one person waited, what a true friend.
Now all I need to do is eat a caramel apple
P.S. does anyone remember when I wanted to make up choreographed dance to this song?
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
i love this halloween post. thriller really is the greatest isn't it!! i wish we could have gone again this year. way to be brave and do scary things for halloween. totally proud.
