Please do not refer to Thanksgiving as "Turkey Day"

Thanksgiving never fails to be one of my favorite Holidays/Vacations of the year. This year was no exception. It was so nice to have a WHOLE week off from school and work. I don't know what it is, but being with my family makes me giddy. Really though, I get the gigs and I can't stop. 

This year I enjoyed  LOTS of eating, cousin time, more eating, running, a much warmer than usual Ogden, University Broiler (my favorite Greek food), Indian food (possibly a new fav), not doing homework, avoiding black friday, a turkey bowl, Christmas Parade and lights, LATE night with Talia and Sonja, a lack of sleep (made up for in laziness), making hard as rock caramel apples that still somehow managed to be eaten. They were that good. Music time with Talia and Torill, girl talk, brother talk, movies, hot-tubbing, obsessing with Torill over our celebrity crushes. We caught ourselves referring to them as our boyfriends, and even future husbands. Dogs, dogs, and more dogs. Listening to my brothers play Starcraft until 3 in the morning. They are true nerds. Going to Breaking Dawn with all of the cousins and looking down the row to see my cousin Blake giggling like a little girl during the movie. We all had a hard time suppressing our laughter.

There was probably more but you get the point. I love my family, I love Thanksgiving, I love my life, and I loved my break from reality.
