On our third day we decided to go get tickets to Phantom of the Opera. It took us forever to find the theater because I wrote down the wrong address, but on our way there we discovered the best place for Breakfast with a plethora of cheap desserts. (80% of our memories revolve around food but it was just too good to not love.) We ended up buying standing tickets because they were cheap, and we had already blown a stupid stupid stupid amount of money on being high maintenance, 5th avenue penthouse/salon girls (seriously what the H?!?!). We did a little shopping and then after we decided we'd try and go to the statue of Liberty. (As usual) it took us forever to get to Battery Park. When we got there we were distracted by a group of street performers. (We didn't know that we would be seeing them 13 more times. )They announced that they were sending out the last Ferry for the day so we just got tickets for the next day. We were so tired so we decided to take the best nap of all time in Battery Park. After our nap we went across the street to the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. To our surprise it was free and it was sort of nice to go into a building with very few people in it. The day was fun but the best part had yet to come. And what do you know, it involves food. After rushing back to Brooklyn (much more of a process then you would imagine) to change into warmer clothes we hurried to Manhattan. We were in a hurry so we decided we'd hurry and stop somewhere that looked good as we were walking to the theater. Of course a million places caught our eye and we almost turned up what ended up being one of our favorites. We were going to go to this little Italian place in Time Square, but I was really craving Mexican food. Right next door was a tex mex restaurant. It was perfect because we didn't have to wait a second. They served us THE BEST chips and salsa, and if you know me you know that is a key to my heart. To top it all off the food freaking rocked. Seriously we were super fans and we may or may not have gone back. Later I was looking at Chevy's on yelp and this is what I read. "I  always recommend Chevy's to tourist families who are looking for a predictable experience." I guess that sort of describes us right? Anyways we loved that place so much, I'll never forget our Chevy memories. Now for the best part..we went to Phantom and of course we loved it! We bought standing tickets for twenty dollars but after intermission we snagged two empty seats! It was incredible, I liked it way better than the Vegas show. Anywhoosies, afterward we went back to our favorite breakfast joint for dessert; some tasty cheesecake and this tart thing. Our night spent in Time Square put me on cloud nine.
Picture overload here we go:
