apparently i'm kind of a big deal

So I don't know if you are aware of this but I have been nominated for the "Liebster Award"  (is it just me or is that a pretty odd name?). I'm not surprised at all because one time in third grade I was nominated to be the student of the week..soooo yeah. Anyways I typically don't like doing these kinds of things, but since Tori Anne Gates Hafen nominated me it must be cool. Plus I just found out that the three tests I am supposed to have tomorrow are actually next week, so I have to do something to procrastinate, right?

1. One time I got lost on the red mountain with Bekah and Lexie, and I am now positive that Bekah is either a professional climber, or Spiderman.

2. I cut off 13 inches of my hair and tried to sell it for 600 dollars but nobody bought it.

3. I like all food, besides bacon. 

4. I'm a sleepwalker. The last sleep walking incident (that I know of) was during my freshman year of college, and I hope I don't have one soon because I sleep on a bunk bed now.

5. I have a crazy good gag reflex. Some people think I am just being dramatic when they see me gag but it's real! I can't brush my teeth without gagging, and when I was little I would laugh so hard I would start gagging/dryheaving. 

  6. I am a dramatic "dater." In middle school my friends and I ripped up a teddy bear that the boy I was going out with (reggie gates, ha!) had given to me after he sent me a text saying he didn't want to go out anymore. In high school I told my mom I would rather stay home and study than go to a dance, and I still come inside and pretend to throw up after I get home from a bad date.

7. Lately I have loved to sing and play my guitar but I get weird and shy about it because I don't want anyone to think that I think I am good. 

8. I want 6-8 kids, but I'm hoping for a couple sets of twins because I don't want to get married for a long time.

9. I've finished four marathons but I've never had a time I've been proud of. I'm running my 5th one in May and my goal is to run it in four flat. I think I can do it, but I'm going to put it out there so I feel more pressure to stick to training :) 

10. I watched all the "I know what you did last summer movies" and many more as a very young child. My favorite book in third grade was Wait Til' Helen Comes, and my friend Sahara would tell me all about this terrible little man called "the thing" who I believed in 100%. In 6th grade my Friday nights were spent at Bekah's house watching scary movies with all the neighborhood girls, and I loved playing the game bloody mary. Now I can't even let a scary thought creep in to my mind, or see a preview of a scary movie without having a nightmare.

11. Sometimes I get scared I wont make a difference in the world.

1: Are you a morning person or a night owl? 

I was a morning person my whole life, we are talking "being ready for school and asking my parents to sign my papers at four in the morning" kind of morning person. But now I'm an owl.

2: If a genie granted you three wishes what would they be?

Obviously world peace, shelter and food for everyone, and an infinite number of wishes, but I'm pretty sure those are against genie rules. If I must be selfish I wish for the opportunity to travel the world, being able to eat whatever I want without gaining any weight, and for a pair of climbing shoes and a climbing pass to the front so I don't have to spend 20 dollars every time I go. 

 3: What is your favorite color? 

Teal

 

4: What annoys you most? 

 When people put their dirty dishes in the sink after I have just emptied the dishwasher, or when people are negative (both of which I am guilty).

5: Guilty pleasure? 

Taking naps. So much guilt and pleasure is felt when I take a nap. Sometimes I wish to get sick for a day so that I can nap as much as I want.

 

6: If you had a day to yourself what would you do? 

I would go to this secret waterfall/swimming hole me Berk and Linc found in Havasupai, and I would watch all the cute "local" kids show off for me while they share their secret spot. And I would swim in the prettiest water I've ever seen and do some wicked cool toe touch jumps off of the rocks. I should probably add that I would get a helicopter ride so I don't spend the entire day hiking.

 

7: What is #1 on your bucket list? 

I want to move to a foreign country for a little while and experience a simple and different way of life.

 

8: What's your favorite app?  

Gospel Library, duh. (But if you want to know the truth it is Spotify because unlimited music is vary sveet.)

 9: What would you love to learn if you had the time?

Either to mountain bike, or have my dad teach me to ride and take care of a horse.

 

10: What three things can you NOT live without? 

My toothbrush, music, and air conditioning

11: What made you decide to start blogging? 

Some of my friends blogged and if they were going to jump off a cliff I would too. 

Now I'm supposed to nominate a bunch of people and explain all the rules and make up new questions but I don't want to do all that so I nominate.....
