a mime and a cholo walked into a bar

On Friday my friends Katie and Ally threw a Halloween party. Costumes were mandatory and of course Torill and I waited until a couple of hours before the party to go and buy ours. My costume was super easy to find. H&M had everything I needed and it all happened to be inexpensive! Torill on the other hand did not have such luck. We tried to find the Spirit Halloween store for a good thirty minutes but I am almost positive we had the wrong address. We were running out of time so we decided to go to Walmart. Unforuntately their selection was super slim and generic. When we asked one of the workers if he knew were we could find a bear costume he told us to go to this lingerie store where he found a way cool raccoon costume. We decided to pass on that suggestion and go to the boys section instead. Torill's costume had me laughing all night and I love her so much for it.

Side note- we went to Greek Souvlaki before the party and were not impressed, and a little grossed out. I've heard great things about it so is there something we were missing, or is it just overrated?

The party was super fun and had the most delish festive treats! We played minute to win it games and went on a little scavenger hunt around campus. After the party a bunch of us stayed to hang out and played more games. We went to Crimson Night around midnight in hopes to go through the haunted house but it had already closed down. We bowled for free instead and hit the dance floor. We danced like nobody was watching ;) A few people came up to be and acted as though they were mimes, so I guess they could tell what my costume was. Most people weren't sure if Torill was dressed up or if she was just another gangsta at the party. It was so funny to look at peoples facial expressions. It makes me laugh just thinking about it.

For the after after after party we went to Denny's for hot chocolate and ended up at the most ghetto Denny's inside of a gas station. This guy kept walking by our table and giving us a crazy look. I thought he was going to snatch one of us. Thank heavens there was a table full of police officers sitting next to us.

We didn't make it home until four thirty so I call that a successful night!
