I've always loved the St. George marathon because it brings my family together, whether we're running it or not. This year all of the kids in my family ran it along with my mom. It wasn't my best marathon because I hurt my knee a couple of weeks before and it started giving me trouble at mile three and I was nauseous for most of the run. When I crossed the finish line I started to cry because it was such a painful and emotional run but I was so grateful to see my good friend Kenzie (who did awesome btw) waiting inside the gates for me. She waited around for two hours just to see me come in.. what a good friend! Although it was my hardest marathon I'm proud of myself for doing it.
The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out with my whole family and watching conference. I'm always happy for family time with some of the best!
Ah, girl that was me during my last marathon. It is so hard when you feel so sick, good job for finishing though! Marathons are the BEST
