Ocean Park & Santa Monica

We started our Monday morning off bright and early with a little walk up the stairs of death for a great view of LA. I can't remember what these said stairs were called but they are something Tanner and Brynne do regularly so we decided to join in on the fun. I was really sore from doing insanity a couple of days before so my legs were shot. After our walk we went to the OP cafe for the yummiest five dollar breakfast while Tanner took Morris home for his nap. When we made it back Morris was awake and we were all ready (besides law school student Tan) for a beach day! We went to Ocean Park and had the dreamiest time. Sadly Morrie and Brynnie couldn't stay too long because the babes got to sleep but we took what we could get. The day was full of sleeping, lots of sleeping, playing football, playing in the waves, flying a kite and having it almost get chopped down by a helicopter, having BOTH of our bags of chips stolen by seagulls, being pooped on by seagulls, and a walk to Santa Monica Pier to ride the Ferris Wheel. 

For dinner Brynne made super delish homemade pizza and for dessert we went to Milk to try out the macaroon ice cream sandwiches. I've heard about them for quite some time now, and they did not disappoint!

Basically it was just the happiest of days. As Bekah kept saying, it was literally flawless!

I always think it's a good idea to not put sunscreen on my haven't seen the sun in months legs until I end up getting fried. Happens every time.

Lex made a sand chair but Beks laid in it the wrong way ;)
