According to my iPhone here's what has been happening over here.
Lots of snap chatting. Also this picture was taken on a Thursday and I love Thursdays because I only have one class, and I have it with Torill! It's our special day for Alta time.
Dance parties in our apartment. Of course all dance parties must turn into break dancing parties when Torill is around!
I have no idea what was happening here or why I took this photo, buuuut it pretty much sums up who I hang out with these days ;) Good thing Torill and I are dating best friends!
I get my hair done at work everyday. So basically I leave looking better than I came ;)
Lots of traveling time with this gal. I just don't think anyone understands how much I love my kindred spirit. We were made to be best friends!
This is a terrible picture of me but Ty came over and surprised me one night when he had me thinking all day that we wouldn't be able to see each other until after spring break. I was pretty disappointed so it was a really happy surprise to get to see him.
We were washing our feet one night and we decided to shave one of Patrick's legs. It took forever, but the end result was flawless ;) My favorite part about this picture is how red his other foot is! He had to stand on one foot for a really long time, haha.
Nobody was going to be home during spring break so I had to take my goldfish, and flowers home with me. My fish lived, my flowers not so much.
Tessa, Tessa, Tessa time! I loved hearing from my old cheer coach that her son, Talon, has a major crush on Tessa, and that when she invited him to have a play date he told her he had to wait until he was 16.
Going to Lincoln's rugby games also means eating the most amazing snow cones ever. And this is coming from a girl who doesn't typically love snow cones.
My favorite picture we've ever had on our apartment whiteboard.
Torres kid time. Seriously I love them and I will never stop talking about it.
Buying the worst new shoes in the world. Both of my heels looked like this after wearing them.
Kenzie Bakker friendship time. Remember this gal? Well it's been forever and a half since we've hung out because we're both so busy these days. I was pretty stoked when I remembered we were both in St. George at the same time without a thing to do.
Torill was face timing her while we were on a little hike, so it was like we all got to be on a hike together.
What you are witnessing here is Maddi and Morris bonding time. Brynne was in Utah babysitting her sisters kids for a few days, and we really wanted to see our little guy, so my mom stole him (with permission) for a few hours. When he got to our house he was crying so hard because his teeth were bothering him. He cried for quite sometime but then I was able to get him to stop. He sat on my lap for a good hour, and nobody dared move him or even say anything to him, because we didn't want to make him sad. After a while I could tell his fragile state was over, and he was ready to crawl around and be his usual self. He would climb up the pillows on the couch and we would all clap for him. He loved it but not as much as I was loving him! I was so happy I was able to have this special time with this guy. Usually when I babysit he is asleep, and when he is awake his moms around, and who doesn't prefer Brynne over anyone? ;) This moment also reminded me of the days that we would babysit Max. He would cry and I was the only one who could get him to stop. I swear to you that's why I'm so close with him, and maybe also because sometimes I would share my Otterpops with him ;)
He would eat one of his cheese puffs and then after he would pull this plastic giraffe to his face and bite it. I think it felt good on his tooth?
After Morrie left, Max, Tessa and Ella came over while their parents went to stake conference. As Tessa was playing she told me that she liked Morris. I told her I did too, and then she said, "I like my cousin Morris, but I'm talking about this Morris." She whipped out a kind of creepy doll, and it made me laugh so hard. She loves Morris so much she named her doll Morris. She also told me that since she has brown hair she can be Brynne, and Max can be Tanner since he has blonde hair. Don't worry Tessa, I want to be Brynne too :)
Ella is the queen of Frozen. She loves to sing it and talk about how she is Elsa. She asked me if she could put on one of my old costumes, and then we put a little bit of my lipstick and mascara on her. She was thrilled when my mom said she looked like Elsa in that dress, and we then had to turn on Let it Go so she could sing every word and do all the actions for me. You have no idea how freaking cute it was. As she was leaving I told Cass about it and Ella said, "Do I look like Elsa" I assured her she did and as I was saying goodbye I said, "Bye Ella, I mean Elsa." She paused for a minute and said "Yeah, why did you call me Ella?" hahah the girl is funnnnnny.
I love hanging out with these girls, and I hope I can stay close to them throughout their lives! When I told them I might be moving far away for 8 months Ella got a really serious look on her face and said, "Don't do it, okay? Just don't."
After the babysitting fun Lex and I headed over to our good friend Nick Gubler's house. I haven't hung out with him since he's been home, so it was a blast to catch up! We even pulled out the old dance pictures ;) His parents taught us a new game called Qwirkle. It was really fun, and I even won the second round, but only after failing miserably the first round. I realize this picture has nothing to do with Nick, but it was taken outside of his house and it reminded me of the fun night.
Did you know that replacing your headlight is the easiest thing ever? I didn't, but you learn something new everyday. I was totally stressed about getting this done, so I headed over to O'Reilly's Autoparts before work, and the guy did everything for me. It was amazeballs.
This guy sleeping was making me laugh for some reason. Also I'm a really good procrastinator.
I have a love/hate relationship with Ziggy. He is soo cute, happy, energetic, fluffy, and he gives great kisses, but sheesh he pee's and poops everywhere sooooooo sooooo sooooooo much.
wowee zowee this post sure was a self-esteem boost! guess i better come 'round these parts more often! ;0) :-o :-p :-S
