Girl Meets World: President's Day Weekend

My plans for President's Day weekend changed quite a few times. I originally planned to go home, then Torill and I wanted to plan a trip to my cabin, and then my boss asked me to work that weekend. Since I wanted a week off for Spring Break I figured I needed to forfeit my break so I wouldn't feel lame asking for a week off. On Thursday night I found out that I was only going to have to work all day Thursday and Friday which left me with the whole weekend. None of my roommates were going to be around so I figured I might as well make a last minute trip to St. George. I took Kambria to my apartment to pack while the boys were at swim and I headed home as soon as I got off work. I didn't tell my parents I was coming and I think they were a little nervous when they saw my car in the driveway the next morning. I rolled into town around 11:00 and my friend Tyler invited me to stop by his families Second home in Coral Canyon (I think that's where it was). It was fun to hang out with a good SLC friend in St. George. We sat around his outdoor fire pit and I melted my shoes. We also watched some quality late night infomercials with a special on Dump Cakes and Dump Dinners. Seriously, that was the name and it about killed me.

Saturday was filled with hangout/hike time with Lincoln, trying to recover from a cold, hanging with the Torres family, and hot tub, fire pit, and pickle ball time with Ty guy. It was an eventful night with me getting pulled over for not having my lights on (this is not the first time this has happened) and not having my insurance card in my car. The last time I got pulled over for not having my lights on I didn't have my license with me! I pretended to look for it but I knew exactly where it was..sitting in my room where I put it after my dad told me to put it in my car. Thankfully I didn't get a ticket or a warning so I was off the hook.

I was able to hang out with Lexie on Sunday and we enjoyed the amazing weather. We went on a walk to the duck pond and were sweating by the end of our walk. Not because we are out of shape but because it was HOT.

I had to leave early on Monday because I had work but thankfully I was able to stop by Kortney's before I headed out.

It was such a fun weekend and I am pumped to go back this weekend!
