Festival of Colors

The Festival of Colors was as dreamy as could be, and to be quite frank it was a lot more fun than I had expected. I went with Lexie and Bekah, and we had the best time driving down and catching up. I loved listening to Lex talk about Mr. Layton, her ultimate dream boat. She refers to him as Mr. Layton because she thinks it's romantic like Mr. Darcy or whoever (?) and I think it's hilarious. When we got there we hurried and bought some chalk and made it down to where all the music and such was playing just in time for a throwing. It was so lucky because we were meeting some of my friends there and I had no idea where to find them, but thanks to Patrick's height I was able to spot them right off the bat. However, Tyler wasn't with them and we were playing the longest game of phone tag trying to find each other. It made me laugh how many times his name appeared on my recent calls. Finally he found us and he had bought me a big bag of chalk, so I had a ton! It really was the nicest. Lexie and Bekah crowd surfed and I was so proud of them! I'm still kicking myself for not doing it. We stayed for another throwing and inhaled a gallon of chalk. I was on cloud nine all day, and I loved the natural looking tan the orange chalk gave me ;-)

I only took a few pictures but Tyler took a bunch and I stole them all..so pretty much all photo credit goes to him.

And my hair was never the same..

I look like I'm straight out of a leprechaun horror movie :0
