Last week my brother Tanner came to Utah for some interviews and he thought it would be nice to get the whole family (minus the Torres fam) to meet up at our cabin by Panguitch Lake for the weekend. Somehow it ended up working out for everyone. It was obviously meant to be.

It was a successful weekend. Great idea Tanner! I just can't wait until next Summer when we (hopefully!!) have Cass, Tyler, Max, Tessa, Ella, and Mitzi with us! Just as long as Mitzi (my old shitzu who we gave to my sister) doesn't make any cows chase after me. ha!
Do you like my outfit? I changed about four times. ha! Not to be stylish but because my dad and brothers were installing dish so we could watch the Olympics. It felt like we had to wait 10 hours before we could go on out little hike and the weather kept changing on me. By the time we got there I wished I would have stuck with my original outfit. Oh well ;)
Berk was practicing his beam routine in honor of the Olympics.
I'm not sure why but I begged them to take a picture using this pose. Not seen is tanner throwing her up in the air like a little child. haha cuties
Berk and Dallas are a real life success story of dog being mans best friend. They can't be separated.
My Grandpa and all of his brothers own the meadow behind our cabin with a river that we've been tubing down for as long as I can remember. Berk insisted that we needed to do it despite the freezing cold water and the rain falling from the sky because he wanted to see Dallas chase the cows. I almost didn't go but I decided at the last minute that if Chandra (the nicest girl that Berk invited) was going to do it I needed to as well. The water actually wasn't very cold once we got used to it. Things were going pretty smooth (other then the actual tube ride), but Dallas was barking his head off. He couldn't figure out why we were in the water. Once he felt more in his element he started to go after the cows. I don't think I've ever seen Berk so proud! Dallas had those cows maaaad. Seriously, they were not happy. He somehow managed to get all 50 cows rounded up (he needs to go out with my dad)! Chandra and Jordan were in the front and Dallas was leading the cows towards the river, to cross right in front of them! At that point I was pleased as peaches to be in the very back. Luckily for them the cows didn't end up crossing, they just gave us a bit of a scare. As I passed the cows there was one that was just staring at me, giving me an evil eye. At first I smiled at her, because that's what I would normally do to a human to let them know I am not a threat. I guess cows are different than humans. How was I supposed to know?! Anywoosies the cow was giving me the stare down, and I know I wasn't making it up because Lincoln saw it too! I ignored the cow and hoped she would ignore me too. It worked for a while but I think Dallas got them all riled up again because shortly after she gave me the head nod with a grunt! I'm telling you she looked me right in the eye and I could see the fire! She was getting the rest of the heard together to come after me. Berk yelled at me from up ahead and told me that the heard was coming after me, uhhmm yeah, as if I didn't aleady know! Lincoln stood up to run, so I tried to do the same until I lost my shoe! It is not easy to run in that rocky river without shoes. I was helpless and completely certain that I was going to be running like crazy from a bunch of mad cows (it sounds more pathetic than it actually was) but they must have figured I wasn't worth the effort because they didn't chase after me and all is well. As soon as the excitement was over I sort of wanted Dallas to get them to come after me again. Yeah, I have issues.
