Last week was a real doozy. I had so much going on with work, midterms, and applying for the Special Ed program. I thought that I had another week to work on my application but I realized on Sunday night that it was due that Friday. I basically had a heart attack seeing as I hadn't done anything for it. But don't you fret, by some miracle I was able to pull it all together. Thank goodness for overnight mail! You might be able to imagine how stupid I felt asking employers and teachers for a letter of recommendation, that needed to be completed in two days, haha. On Friday Torill and I stayed in the library all afternoon and we may or may not have done each others homework for each other. As soon as my Professional Career Statement was finished (HUGE thanks to Torill) we literally skipped on over to the new Education building to hand in my application. Boy oh boy am I excited to be educated in that fancy, brand new smelling, building! After we had a little photo shoot in front of the Education building we decided to stop at Moochie's on the way home. We were laughing pretty hard about all of the random meatball pictures they have hung up everywhere. I don't know how I've never noticed them before.

It's weeks like last week where I really have to push myself. I honestly debated even applying for the program since I might have another opportunity coming up this summer/fall, and it just felt like too much work. Luckily my senses kicked in and I remembered that I can do hard things, I just need to remind myself that more often.

Other Happenings of the week:

I was able to Skype with Braden and Jake which was so fun since I haven't seen them since they've been home from Russia and Finland!

Beks sent me this most terrifying collage of Nic Cage. Although I will never be the same, it made me so happy. HBL for life!

On Saturday Bai and I drove to American Fork to enjoy the most delicious heart attack, I mean waffle, ever.  We also had to stop at The Slurp to get a Dutchaman's sugar cookie and jacked diet coke since we were on the same street.

I was finally able to go to Sunday dinner for the first time in a while! I love hanging out with my siblings so much! Woohoo
