The Cliffs of Moher (pronounced more) were breathtaking. I could spend moher time at them ;) On Saturday morning we drove three hours to get to them in the extremely mini, mini van. Mandi is the nicest and still had me come even though we didn't have enough seats for me with her two nieces being in town. She sat in the middle in the front where there is no seat, and she even pretended to like it so I wouldn't feel bad. On our drive there we were able to stop at a castle, and the best farmers market for a little lunch. We tried probably the most delicious donuts ever (welllll besides the one I had in LA) and some yummy curry, aaaand bratwurst. We made it to the cliffs and had a good time, even though I feared for the children's lives a bit. The memorial at the top dedicated to all the people who have lost their lives to the cliffs didn't help the cause. We all thought the cliffs were prettier than the cliffs we went to in Portugal, but weren't fans of all the tourists, you know since we are locals and all ;) So as far as experience goes Portugal wins the prize! Anywhoosies we had quite a long drive home that seemed to be never ending for all of us. Luckily we were entertained for a bit by Bryce's original song, Time Machine. If you ever have the chance to hear it, don't. JK :) The best part about him singing the song was I had no idea that it was an original, and so at the part where he says, "the day we fell in love was a gift from above" I turned to Kaela and said, "that's the worst line I've ever heard." I about died of laughter when I found out he wrote it, and it is constantly stuck in my head :/ We were also able to get Papa Johns on our way home, but had quite a series of difficulties getting it. Let's just say we were all really happy to be home eating lots and lots of familiar pizza, Dutchman's sugar cookies, and watching Back to the Future after an awesome but long day.
